The Bruno Studies

The “Bruno Studies” watercolors are based on the silhouette of the statue of Giordano Bruno that stands in Rome’s Piazza Campo de’ Fiori. In 1600 Bruno was burned there for suggesting that the Universe is infinite and may have no center at all. Some incorporate text from his writings in “De l’Infinito, Universo e Mondi” (1584). Series of 12, (8.5 x 11)
